After beating New Zealand
2-1 in a three-match series held at home, South
Africa embarked on their first tour of New Zealand
since 1964.
With a tour party of sixteen for the six matches, Eksteen, Rindel
and Jack had the opportunity to play only twice each, while Cronje and Rhodes
appeared in every match.
