Test Cricket Tours - New Zealand to South Africa 2012-13

Tour of  South Africa 2012-13               Captain : Brendon McCullum

Sixty-second official Test tour.

Seventh Test-playing  tour of South Africa by New Zealand

  (December 2012  -

                   January 2013)

The tour was overshadowed by the controversy over Ross Taylor's replacement as Test captain

For the first time since readmission in 1992 there was no Test at Kingsmead (Durban). After South Africa lost the last four Tests played at the ground, its traditional Boxing Day Test was replaced with a Twenty20 international.
