Second
Test-playing tour of Zimbabwe
by South Africa
(November
1999)
Another contender for the
shortest Test tour ever, South African were on Zimbabwe soil for only days.
This one-off Test was the
second in a two-match series with Zimbabwe, one played in each
country. The first Test at Bloemfontein
resulted in victory for South
Africa by an innings and 13 runs.
With South Africa winning the
toss at Harare and electing to bowl first on a seaming wicket, the
Zimbabweans had little chance and were soon dismissed for 102, their lowest
ever Test match total.
