Highlights

Marcus Trescothick scored 121 in the opening one-day international at Kolkata but India won the match.

Andrew Flintoff memorably whirled his shirt above his head as England narrowly won the last ODI at Bombay to square the series 3-3 against India

Nasser Hussain scoring 106 and Matthew Hoggard taking 7-63 were the first innings highlights at Christchurch

Graham Thorpe scored a double century (200*) and added a record 281 for 6th wicket with Flintoff (137)

While Nathan Astle responded with a double century of his own for NZ, Caddick’s bowling (6-122) won the match.

Andrew Caddick took a further 6-63 in the second Test; and had 19 wickets in the series @19.84

Marcus Trescothick (88) and Mark Butcher (60) added 115 for the 2nd wicket at Wellington before Flintoff scored 75.

Skipper Nasser Hussain stood more or less alone, scoring 82 while England were bowled out to lose at Auckland
