Flew to the Caribbean on Saturday  24 May, arriving in two batches

The first group of nine tourists landed at the Sir Donald Sangster Airport, Montego Bay, Jamaica on Sunday and went directly to Trelawny to spend a week in preparations for the tour and play two matches at the Trelawny multi-purpose stadium. This group included Boult, Rutherford, Watling, Fulton, Wagner, Sodhi, Latham, Craig and Ronchi.

The second group pf tourists who had been playing in the Indian Premier League (Ross Taylor, Corey Anderson, Tim Southee) and Kane Williamson (playing for Yorkshire), and Jimmy Neesham, arrived on 1 June.

Brendon McCullum was given permission to miss the warm-up in order to play in the Champions League semi-final
