Eleventh Test-playing tour of England by New Zealand

New Zealand’s
greatest cricketer, Richard Hadlee, was knighted in the Queen’s birthday
honours and became the first man knighted for services to the game to appear
in a Test match when he played at Lord’s. He ended his Test career at
Edgbaston by taking a wicket off his final delivery.
